This is our exclusive Active Movers area where ODAF will share updates and you can interact with others!
Active Movers is aimed at those 50+ or those starting out on their fitness journey who would like to try some gentle exercise.
During a typical class we start with a gentle warm up to some fab tunes you can all sing along too, then we will move onto some resistance training with therabands/weights and end with some balance, hip mobility and stretching exercises.
From April 2022, this class will be fully funded for one year by the Community Mental Health and Well-being fund thanks to the help from VAO! This will include equipment as well.
I plan to run two classes weekly, spaces will be limited and bookings ahead will be essential. I am aware many do not use or have the internet so bookings will likely be made off line and directly through me.
